1st January 2009
Happy New Year to all our customers
and readers. Please note that I will not be attending the January
Farm Shop date as experience has shown that most people don't want pies
and cakes so soon after Christmas! I will be back on the 6th and 7th
February 2009.
I have decided not to reproduce the
dates for the Farm Shop here, as they can be easily found on the Woodford
Meats web-site (a link to which is given on the Farm Shop page).
This will hopefully minimise the danger of errors when I'm typing!

22nd November 2008

08th October 2008
My picture of the profiteroles on
the homepage of this website keeps popping up on other websites and forums
all over the world. Try 'googling' "profiterloes" to see
what I mean. Shame we can't charge royalties, Mr W and his Box
Brownie would be living the life of luxury (not quite!)

29th July 2008
Summer has arrived at last and
peaches are plentiful in the shops so I couldn't resist making a pavlova.

1st March 2008
Due to increased demand and the
logistical difficulties in producing so many pies immediately prior to a
farm shop, all my shortcrust pies are now supplied frozen.
Discussing this with my customers, the vast majority of people were
freezing them at home anyway so it was felt that this would have little,
or no, impact on our customers. Please call me if you require fresh
pies for delivery at times other than farm shop weekends.

Not quite sure where to put this but I just
thought it was one of my better photographs! Couldn't really resist
sharing it with you, taken as I was making a batch of brawn.
Should be making more soon !
